Cylinder Head Skimming
This involves resurfacing the mating surface to bring it back to the correct tolerance so that it provides a tight seal
Why is this important?
If the head is not perfectly flat, leaks or ruptures can quickly occur resulting in premature gasket failure which in turn will cause the engine to malfunction.

We undertake cylinder head skimming to bring the surface back into tolerance and offer reliable performance from you vehicle.
Using up to date machines we ensure highly precise surface levels
Our Process?
1) Remove and evaluate its flatness, if there is sign of distortion we will skim the surface

2) When resurfacing we aim to remove as little materials as possible to get rid of distortion without altering compression too much
3) After the skimming process we may need to resurface the
valves and valve seats to ensure they are the correct depth
4) Following the skimming process we ensure that cylinder
heads are fully functional and your engine is safe
Cylinder Pressure Test
We use this test to find find problems within your car engine. This
